By downloading, installing, or using Chore Chores ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Chore Chores is a chore scheduling application that allows you to create and manage recurring chores across multiple locations. You can assign tasks to household members and track completion over time. Data is stored in the cloud via Firebase to enable sharing between household members.
Chore Chores requires an account to use household sharing features. You can sign in with email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In (iOS). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Chore Chores offers optional in-app subscriptions that unlock additional features and remove advertisements. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are governed by the respective store's terms. We do not receive or store your payment details.
You retain full ownership of all data you create in the App, including homes, chores, schedules, member profiles, and completion history.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) to enable household sharing and cross-device access. A local cache is also maintained on your device for offline use. Uninstalling the App removes the local cache but does not delete your cloud data.
When you invite members to your household, they can view and interact with shared chores, assignments, and rewards. You are responsible for managing who has access to your household.
The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob for non-subscribers. Before any advertising data is collected, the App obtains your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (in GDPR regions and regulated US states) and, on iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Based on your choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can update your ad preferences at any time from the App's Settings. Active subscribers do not see advertisements.
The App sends push notifications for chore reminders, assignment updates, and achievement alerts via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
When you invite someone to your household, an email is sent on your behalf containing the recipient's email address, your name, and the household name. By sending an invitation, you confirm that you have the right to share the recipient's email address for this purpose.

The Chore Chores application, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of its developer. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's intellectual property beyond the license to use the App as intended.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Chore Chores shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging), Google AdMob, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:
Chore Chores is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling it. We reserve the right to restrict access to the App if these Terms are violated.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
