By downloading, installing, or using Guess The Trope ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Guess The Trope is a trivia game where players guess popular TV and movie tropes. The App includes solo play, friend challenges, and a rivalry system for tracking head-to-head records. It is available as a mobile app.
Guess The Trope requires an account to play. You can sign in with email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In (iOS). You may also link multiple sign-in methods to a single account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You can challenge other players and establish rivalries. When you send a challenge, the recipient can accept or decline. Rivalry records track your head-to-head history with other players.
You can search for other players by username or email address to send game invitations. Your username and email are searchable by other authenticated users.
You agree to play fairly and not use external tools, bots, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage. We reserve the right to reset scores or suspend accounts that engage in cheating.
You retain ownership of your account data. Game content (tropes, questions, categories) is the property of the App developer.
Your display name, game stats, and rivalry records may be visible to other players through the App's social features. You can manage your display name in your profile settings.
The App displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Before any advertising data is collected, the App obtains your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (in GDPR regions and regulated US states) and, on iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Based on your choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can update your ad preferences at any time from the App's Settings. Ad content is determined by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies. Guess The Trope is not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

The Guess The Trope application, including its design, code, game content, and branding, is the property of its developer. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's intellectual property beyond the license to use the App as intended.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Guess The Trope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions) and Google AdMob. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:
Guess The Trope is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account from the profile screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
